When is the Asia-Pacific Amateur Championship?
Dates: 29 October–1 November 2026
Venue: The four-day championship will be played on the South Course at Te Arai Links.
What is the Asia-Pacific Amateur Championship?
The championship was created by the Asia Pacific Golf Confederation, The R&A and the Masters Tournament to develop amateur golf across the Asia-Pacific region. The field brings together leading amateur players representing golf organisations throughout the region.
There is also considerably more at stake than the championship trophy. The 2026 champion earns an invitation to the 2027 Masters Tournament at Augusta National and an exemption into The 155th Open at St Andrews.
That makes Te Arai an opportunity to watch some of the region's leading amateur players before they potentially progress further onto the international stage.
